This 1800 square foot, off-grid, post and beam straw bale passive solar home is located near the village of Deacon, Ontario. It features insulated concrete formed grade beam, highly insulated concrete pad, hand-hewn posts and beams, wood-fired radiant floor heating and domestic hot water system, passive solar design, and a 2000 watt solar electrical system.
